Job summary

GCM Grosvenor in New York seeks a Portfolio Management professional to help construct, implement and monitor customized private equity portfolios and investment allocations. The role supports portfolio construction planning, alignment with objectives and coordination of investment diligence with cross-functional teams.

You will participate in weekly investment committee meetings, test adherence to guidelines and help prepare periodic client updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field with a superior GPA.
1–3 years in investment, operations or accounting within asset management or top-tier firm.
Familiarity with the private equity and alternative investments industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to clients and staff.
Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI.

Responsibilities

Review investment opportunities to determine appetite and allocations, documenting final allocations.
Test investment adherence to guidelines and client-specific protocols.
Participate in weekly meetings, including investment committee discussions.
Monitor target portfolio plans to ensure alignment with objectives and constraints.
Maintain knowledge of private equity funds and current investment themes.
Prepare client portfolio update materials and customized deliverables.
Coordinate investment execution, track diligence, closing dates, and communications.
Contribute to special projects and strategic development initiatives.
