Job summary

Aflac Asset Management, LLC (d.b.a. Aflac Global Investments) seeks an intern for its 2027 Global Investments (NY) Private Credit Intern program in Mount Holly, NC. The role is hybrid, with 60% on-site in New York and remote work within the continental U.S.

for the rest of the week. The 10-week intensive program provides exposure to fixed income, data analytics, investment risk management, and modeling. Interns present analyses to senior management and learn through structured training,

Qualifications

GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. and must be located in the continental U.S. for the duration.

Responsibilities

Communicate regularly with all aspects of an insurance asset manager, focusing on data analytics and risk.
Support analysis and reporting of commitments and objectives such as PRI, CDP, and TCFD.
Enhance integration of environmental and social analysis into the investment process.
Learn and support the company’s responsible investing framework and public commitments.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, financial risk and operational risk teams to establish governance.
Maintain large data sets and identify trends to guide investment decisions.
Interact with trading, quantitative, strategy, and research groups across departments.
