Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and manage architecture for key financial applications. You will guide development, ensure compliance with standards, and promote best practices across teams in a hybrid Boston-based role.

With 15+ years in software design and strong Java/AWS expertise, you’ll lead architecture discussions, mentor staff, and evaluate new technologies to drive enterprise performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field preferred.
• 15+ years’ experience in software design.
• Expert knowledge of Java-centric web applications and architecture.
• Strong AWS serverless and microservices experience.
• Advanced SQL skills with tuning; experience with SQL Server/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Leads design roadmap, discussions, and development for Development team.
• Ensures compliance with corporate enterprise standards and policies.
• Develops, implements, and champions design and coding best practices and standards.
• Leads development and implementation; may manage day-to-day work or projects.
• Provides architecture expertise; evaluates new technologies and ideas.
