Qualifications

• 8+ years in perception or robotics engineering, staff level or equivalent.
• Ownership of production perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robots.
• Strong foundations in computer vision, ML, and probabilistic estimation.
• Experience deploying onboard software with real-time or latency constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for sensor fusion, localization, tracking, mapping, and uncertainty estimation.
• Integrate radar, cameras, and other sensor modalities into perception outputs.
• Partner with autonomy, navigation, and ML teams to support safe vehicle behavior.
• Translate research and algorithms into production software meeting edge compute and latency constraints.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and contribute to hiring.
