Job summary

RS&H in South Florida seeks a Principal Bridge Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on a hybrid schedule. You will act as project manager, technical lead, and key client liaison for complex bridge projects, coordinating design and delivery across disciplines.

You will build and lead a team of structural bridge engineers, define processes, contribute to bids, and maintain client relationships through all project phases, presenting technical solutions to clients and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree and 15+ years relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer in good standing.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
• Proficient in production software and construction document production.
• Strong decision-making with significant impact.
• Thought leader with multi-discipline leadership experience.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define project elements and processes to meet client needs.
• Coordinate bids and promote client relationships.
• Oversee performance to contracts with cross-discipline teams.
• Lead projects, including major complex ones.
• Supervise design and technical delivery.
• Develop and apply standard operating procedures for projects.
