Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time role based in San Francisco, CA. You will manage a patient panel across acute, chronic, and well visits, with in-office and testing center duties, plus occasional tele-health visits.

The position requires CA licensure and an accredited NP/PA program with national certification, with 2 years outpatient primary care experience (or 1 year plus a fellowship/urgent care). LARC insertion is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification.
• State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in outpatient primary care, OR 1 year with a 1-year fellowship or 1+ year in urgent care.
• Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits.
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities.
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams.
• Utilization of your clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures.
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.
