Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Premium Auditor to join our Risk Management and Loss Control team. This permanent full-time role is hybrid in San Jose, CA, with audits conducted by phone, video, or other remote methods as needed.

You will review payrolls, financial records, and exposure data to determine accurate premium, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and collaborate with auditors to deliver high-quality audit reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium audit, insurance operations, or accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll and financial documentation.
• Strong analytical and documentation review skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related audit systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct premium audits via phone or virtual platforms.
• Review payroll records, financial statements, and business documentation.
• Verify classification codes and exposure data.
• Identify discrepancies between reported and actual operations.
• Contact policyholders via phone or email to collect audit documentation.
• Prepare audit reports in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation within audit systems.
• Collaborate with Premium Audit Coordinators to support audit readiness.
• Communicate findings to policyholders and internal stakeholders.
• Meet production and quality standards.
• Adhere to regulatory and client-specific audit requirements.
