• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java with coursework, projects, or internships.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line environments.
• Understanding of computer architecture, networking, operating systems, or embedded systems concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing chip-level validation tests for HPE Slingshot NIC and switch ASICs using emulator-based environments.
• Develop software tools, scripts, and automated tests to improve validation efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze test results and help investigate hardware and software issues identified during validation.
• Work with engineers from architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to understand product functionality and validation requirements.
• Contribute to test infrastructure and automation projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Document findings, debug activities, and project results.
• Participate in technical design reviews, team meetings, and validation discussions.
• Complete a defined summer project and present results to the engineering team.
