Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and deliver modern business applications and workflow automation. You will work with HR leadership and business stakeholders to build scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

In this hybrid role in Houston, you will drive governance, security, and lifecycle management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
• Experience with Dataverse, governance, and ALM for enterprise solutions.
• Ability to gather requirements from HR/business stakeholders and translate into scalable apps and workflows.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade apps with Power Platform.
• Create and optimize automated processes and workflows using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Develop alerts, approvals, and governance-compliant automation solutions.
• Support lifecycle management, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
