Job summary

RCT Systems PSD seeks Electrical Engineers with specialization in power electronics hardware and control design, or high-voltage power systems. Entry- and junior-level applicants are encouraged to apply, with cover letters addressing gaps in the core work.

Responsibilities include designing and testing SiC/GaN based converters, developing digital control, and CHIL/real-time test setups; mid-level roles add leadership, test procedures, and technical writing. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or related field required; graduate work acceptable.
• Experience with high-power solid-state power conversion preferred (>5 kW).
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and test WBG-based power converter topologies.
• Develop digital control algorithms for power converters.
• Create CHIL or RT test setups.
• Design systems from 1.2 kV to 10 kV.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
