Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Power BI IT Solutions Analyst to join our IT team. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, translate business needs into visuals, and ensure data accuracy across source systems.

You will collaborate with technical staff and business units, publish updates, and support stakeholders with reporting insights while mentoring teammates and contributing to project work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related role
• Associate’s degree or higher in an IT related field is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred
• LEAN principles experience desired

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards from defined requirements
• Create clear visualizations to support business decisions and reporting
• Maintain and enhance existing dashboards with break-fix and enhancements
• Publish updates using release practices with testing and documentation
• Validate data accuracy by reconciling reports to source systems and rules
• Troubleshoot reporting issues end-to-end
• Monitor reporting environments for reliability and performance
• Provide advanced technical support for dashboard-related issues
• Collect, evaluate, and prioritize business enhancement requests
• Drive collaboration among internal and external team members
• Read, understand, and apply complex technical information
• Document project artifacts and system changes
• Mentor others on system management and project management
• Establish test environments prior to upgrades
• Complete tasks within agreed timeframes
• Assist with project management and business analysis documents
