Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Power BI Solutions Analyst to join our IT team in Des Moines, IA. This role will bridge technical staff and business units, gathering requirements, analyzing options, and driving projects. You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support organizational decision-making and reporting.

Located in Des Moines, this hybrid role requires being in the office four days per week with one remote day. 5+ years’ experience and a IT-related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a related role
• Proven ability to build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with customer focus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on requirements
• Create visualizations to support business decisions and reporting
• Publish updates with testing, communication, and docs
• Validate data accuracy against source systems and rules
• Troubleshoot reporting issues end-to-end
• Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues
• Document system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery plans
• Participate in project planning and business analysis activities
