Job summary

The Aging Research for Cardiovascular Health Program at the Hebrew SeniorLife Marcus Institute for Aging Research offers a two-year postdoctoral fellowship focused on database research in cardiovascular health of frail older adults, under Harvard Medical School faculty mentorship.

The Fellow will analyze existing cohort, Medicare data, or EHR datasets, develop protocols, perform analyses, and contribute to manuscripts while seeking independent funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD or equivalent in medicine, epidemiology, gerontology, and other related health sciences.
• Track record in database research or cardiovascular research, evidenced by minimum of 2 first-author peer-reviewed original publications.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with Medicare data.

Responsibilities

• Under the mentorship, write research protocols, conduct analyses on datasets from cohorts and real-world sources, and prepare manuscripts.
