Actalent is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer in Omaha, NE to design, program and optimize manufacturing equipment and automation systems. You will partner with the Engineering team on capital projects, applying PLC programming and Allen-Bradley expertise to improve plant performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in manufacturing controls, a mechanical engineering background, and hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation and AutoCAD/Inventor for panel design and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with a focus on programming.
• Strong background in controls programming.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and Allen-Bradley systems.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and program manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing plant systems.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team on capital projects.
