Job summary

Honeywell LNG Headquarters in Allentown, PA seeks an Engineering Manager for Plant Systems (Finance) to lead the Plant Systems Engineering team across Controls, Instrumentation & Electrical, and P&ID development. You will drive staffing, professional development, workload forecasting, and execution strategies for LNG plant designs and aftermarket offerings, with occasional travel to other sites.

The role reports to the MDE Director and includes coaching, quality control, risk management, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (science/technology/engineering/mathematics).
• Minimum 6 years of advanced engineering experience or prior engineering management.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in technical execution, organizational planning, and risk identification.
• Ability to multitask and track simultaneous urgent efforts to completion.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workload forecasting plan for all disciplines.
• Develop and execute staffing plan including hires, contractors, and outsourcing options.
• Provide coaching and professional development for all team members.
• Create and implement training requirements and maintain skills credentials inventory.
• Manage Process Safety work processes including design reviews and HAZOPs.
• Establish and ensure QC measures for technical work and deliverables.
• Develop execution models for resourcing and project schedules.
• Manage risk register and ensure mitigation plans are followed.
• Maintain technical knowledge library and discipline standards.
• Contribute to new LNG plant offerings and aftermarket services.
• Support supplier list approvals for components and controls.
