Daniels Health is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to shape decisions at the Sturtevant plant, partnering with Operations, Sales, Transport and Customer Service to turn data into actionable profitability insights that drive smarter choices.

This high-visibility role rewards curiosity and precision as you analyze margins, pricing, capacity and cost trends, support the monthly close, and translate findings into practical actions that improve performance across the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in public accounting, commercial finance, FP&A, or related analytical finance role.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• ERP experience (SAP, Enwis/Tegos) is beneficial; BI tools like Power BI/Tableau are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn data into clear, practical recommendations for profitability and decision-making.
• Support profitability analysis across customers, pricing, service arrangements and cost-to-serve.
• Evaluate RFPs, contract renewals and new business opportunities for commercial soundness.
• Partner with Operations and Transport to improve capacity utilization and cost efficiency.
• Support plant leaders with performance reporting, KPIs, dashboards and actionable insights.
• Contribute to monthly close, P&L review, expense analysis and variance commentary.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, modelling, scenario planning and business cases.
• Identify data bottlenecks and improve processes across the operation.
• Build stronger reporting tools and improve data quality and usefulness.
