Job summary

E Ink Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Pilot Plant in MA to support and improve critical batch processes. You will work hands-on with operators, engineers, and scientists to accelerate development-to-launch cycles in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, safety, and the use of digital tools to improve transparency and decision-making across pilot operations. A technical degree and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical or mechanical engineering with 0–10 years of experience.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and safety awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support of pilot lab processes via troubleshooting of equipment and processes.
• Design, commission, and install new processes and equipment to transfer to pilot team.
• Support development by addressing technical risks and driving safety initiatives for robust processes.
• Monitor material performance and use SPC to identify disruptions.
• Provide management with clear reports on process status and progress.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations to align goals and ensure EH&S compliance.
• Implement and leverage digital tools to enhance process transparency and decision-making.
