Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Program Manager to support the Physician Compliance Department across North Carolina. Under supervision of senior leadership, you will implement elements of UNC Health’s systemwide Compliance Program, educate teammates, investigate misconduct, and monitor risks.

You will lead governance meetings, develop policies, coordinate audits, train staff, and work with Legal, ISD, Risk Management, and Internal Audit to promote regulatory compliance across the health system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Health care compliance certification required within two years of employment.
• Experience by degree: Master’s 3+ years; Bachelor’s 5+ years; Associate’s 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Leads the day-to-day operations of UNC Health’s Hospital Compliance or Physician Compliance program, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and policies.
• Develops, implements, and monitors compliance initiatives to meet regulatory standards and mitigate risk.
• Ensures timely identification, reporting, and resolution of compliance issues across the organization.
• Promotes adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and UNC Health policies.
• Oversees development and maintenance of policies and procedures supporting UNC Health’s compliance.
