Job summary

Essentia Health Cloquet Clinic is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient recovery, mobility, and independence under a licensed PT. You will implement treatment plans, help with mobility and exercise, and document progress in the EMR while collaborating with the care team.

Qualified candidates hold PTA credentials, state licensure, and prefer acute care experience. A potential hybrid/remote option may be available, with a daytime shift and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program, current state licensure (or eligibility).
• Experience in acute care or a comparable clinical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans and assist with patient mobility and exercise programs.
• Document progress in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for safe discharge planning.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives.
