Job summary

GDH is hiring for a hands-on hardware technician role in a collaborative engineering lab in Santa Clara, CA. You will assemble, test, validate, and troubleshoot server and GPU-based systems, supporting AI and data center hardware development.

Responsibilities include wiring, measuring, and documenting test results, using oscilloscopes, and performing solder rework with appropriate tools. A hybrid work model is offered to balance office and remote work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in electronics/hardware labs.
• Fundamental knowledge of computing architectures and debugging.
• Experience with oscilloscopes and lab test equipment.
• Ability to read technical schematics and engineering docs.
• Working knowledge of Linux command-line.
• Strong system-level debugging and board bring-up.
• Ability to perform solder rework and mechanical modifications.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.
• Experience with server management processors or thermal validation preferred.
• Education/training/certifications in electronics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install development platforms and large server systems.
• Conduct system testing and document results.
• Validate modules/boards and troubleshoot hardware.
• Configure test equipment to collect signal data.
• Prepare boards for solder rework and hardware modifications.
• Support shipping, inventory, and materials in the lab.
• Maintain lab equipment and workspace.
• Support 3D printing for test setups and fixtures.
• Follow safety, quality, and hardware handling procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on hardware development and testing.
