Job summary

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is seeking a Philanthropy Specialist to support fundraising, donor engagement, and events within the Development Team. This role emphasizes individual giving, stewardship, and coordinating engagement opportunities to deepen donor support for the Hotline’s mission.

This full-time, hybrid position requires in-office work two days per week in Austin, TX, with a competitive annual salary of $65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package to support health,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field.
• 3 years’ fundraising, event management, hospitality, customer service, or related field.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of individual donors up to $2,499 annually with cultivation, stewardship and solicitation.
• Maintain CRM donor records and document interactions for portfolio management.
• Conduct donor research to identify capacity and engagement opportunities.
• Prepare donor briefings, materials, and portfolio reports for leadership.
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising and engagement events, ensuring strong attendee experience.
• Track event progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with venues, vendors, speakers, sponsors to support events.
