Job summary

Intermountain Specialty Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Midvale, UT, in a hybrid, full-time schedule. The role supports all pharmacy services under supervision, handles patient information, and prepares medications with accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Strong customer service, regulatory knowledge, and teamwork are essential. After training, remote work is possible at least one day per week on-site presence is required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision.
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist pharmacist in collecting clinical/patient information and maintaining records.
• Use pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and perform calculations.
• Fill and maintain medication supplies, verify controlled substance inventories, and support 340B/Charging management.
