Job summary

Onco360 seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing to support our Scottsdale, AZ specialty pharmacy. You will intake prescriptions, process orders, and assist pharmacists through the entire prescription journey.

Qualifications

• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience required; 3+ years preferred, specialty pharmacy experience beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication names; basic math and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with good typing and organizational abilities; accurate data input.

Responsibilities

• Create patient profiles and process orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes.
• Request refills when appropriate and manage incoming documents from the fax server.
• Generate prescriptions for pharmacist verification and follow up on prescription transfers.
• Clarify patient demographics and clinical information needed to process prescriptions.
