Job summary

OneCare LTC, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Data Entry department in a hybrid role combining 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The position requires entering prescriptions, communicating with patients and medical professionals, and ensuring fast, courteous service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in pharmacy tech, a valid license or certification, and strong math/analytical skills. Onsite in Troy, MI with a daytime shift and weekend rotation possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)
• Pharmacy Technician License preferred
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy
• Strong math and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needs
• Enter new prescriptions and process refills
• Accurately calculate quantities of new orders to send based on requested amount or cycle dates
• Verify accurate input of all new orders and patient profiles
• Communicate directly with the pharmacist
• Print Medication Administration Records and Physician’s Orders
• Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations
• Communicate daily with billing specialists for overrides and prior authorizations
• Communicate with nursing facilities and doctor’s offices when needed
