Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Analyst to blend clinical insights with data-driven storytelling. You will evaluate pharmacy solutions, gather and interpret evidence, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that impact ROI, health outcomes, and member experience.

Collaborating with Business Analytics, Actuarial, and Health Services, you’ll develop pharmacoeconomic analyses, maintain data integrity, and support formulary decisions while sharpening

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related clinical discipline.
• 4+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in health plan, PBM, or related industry.
• Ability to conduct pharmacoeconomic reviews.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation of pharmacy solutions by collecting, validating, and organizing clinical and economic data.
• Participate in opportunity sizing analyses and contribute to data-driven recommendations.
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings from HEOR/CER sources.
• Prepare pharmacy value stories, articulating ROI, health outcomes, and stakeholder impact.
• Perform data entry, modeling, and reporting to support formulary decisions.
• Develop tools and templates for tracking outcomes and value of interventions.
• Contribute to cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and budget impact analyses.
• Assemble HEOR/CER materials for presentations and decision-making.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
