Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategies that drive profitable growth while staying competitive in the retail market. This role analyzes pricing trends, monitors competitor activity, manages category performance, and executes pricing decisions with cross-functional partners.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and able to balance data analysis with timely pricing execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
Understanding of pricing strategy and category financial performance.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL/Alteryx/Tableau is preferred.
Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned categories by monitoring pricing, margins and competition.
Develop data-driven pricing recommendations balancing competitiveness and profitability.
Execute pricing changes accurately and align with pricing targets.
Monitor margins and forecast performance; identify corrective actions.
Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance and cross-functional teams.
Analyze large datasets to identify pricing opportunities and trends.
Ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and revenue targets.
Lead ad hoc analyses and strategic pricing initiatives as needed.
