ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking a Performance Accountant for a hybrid role at the Glasgow HQ. You will support monthly results, forecasts and budgets, delivering clear financial insights and challenging the business to improve performance.

You will work with stakeholders across Finance and Operations to ensure robust governance and strong financial controls. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong analytical and commercial thinking, capable of handling

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with strong analytical and commercial awareness.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Experience handling large data sets and providing clear insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly results, forecasts, budgets and long-term plans with analysis and commentary.
• Challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities with recommendations.
• Provide reporting and performance insight to management and senior finance leaders.
• Maintain governance over budgets, spend commitments and financial controls; drive continuous improvement.
