Job summary

Sectigo, the leading certificate lifecycle management provider, seeks an Assistant Controller to lead global accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls in a high-growth, multinational environment.

This full-time, hybrid role reports to the Vice President, Global Controller, with responsibilities spanning close processes, audit readiness, and process improvements, based in Scottsdale four days per week, with a compensation range of USD 170K–185K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification required; MBA preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany, and consolidation activities.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and internal control effectiveness.
• Coordinate audit readiness with external auditors and manage remediation of findings.
• Develop and mentor accounting managers and regional staff to foster succession planning.
