Job summary

Atrium Health's Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Pediatric Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine team. The hybrid role focuses on complex pediatric airway and lung conditions, with outpatient independence and inpatient collaboration.

The APP will contribute to education, research, and multidisciplinary care in a leading academic health system that serves the region. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for or hold applicable clinical license (APN/PA) in NC.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers and PALS required with expiration > 90 days from start date.
• DEA license or eligibility to apply required.
• Experience in pediatric pulmonary/cardiology care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and periodic history taking and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement plans of care and treatment strategies.
• Prescribe medications and manage outpatient therapies.
• Order and interpret labs and radiology studies.
• Document encounters and coordinate with inpatient teams.
• Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning.
