Job summary

Prudential's Tax Operations in Newark, NJ is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst to support payroll tax filing and reporting with an external vendor. The role reports to the VP, Process Management and focuses on overseeing the ADP relationship and maintaining payroll tax lifecycle processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate with Tax Operations to manage daily funding and Workday reporting, support year-end W-2 processes, and respond to tax notices with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of payroll tax reporting experience.
• Proficient with MS Office tools and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll tax filing and reporting with external vendor (ADP).
• Review daily/quarterly/year-end payroll tax processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Run Workday reports, support tax notices and remittance, and balance Year-End W-2s.
