Job summary

MEDITECH is seeking an Accounting Specialist, Payroll and Retirement Plans to manage payroll for 3,500+ employees across multiple states and administer the Profit Sharing Trust and 401(k) plan with outside providers.

The role also supports payroll, shareholder and benefits functions, maintaining confidential records and responding promptly to staff inquiries. Hybrid work is offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting preferred.
• 2-3 years of applicable work or military experience.
• Previous retirement plan administration and payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and monthly payroll for 3,500+ employees across multiple states with correct deductions and benefits.
• Administer Profit Sharing Trust and support 401(k) plan with outside providers.
• Support payroll, shareholder and benefits functions; maintain payroll records and respond to staff queries.
• Prepare year-end tax forms and monitor plan compliance and changes.
