Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant to join its North America Finance team in a hybrid role based in Northeast New Jersey. The role supports month-end close, payroll and benefits accounting, and intercompany payroll invoices with a focus on accuracy and controls.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. A BS in finance or accounting and knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Blackline are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with payroll accounting and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close journal entries, including payroll, benefits accounting, deferred compensation, and EPP.
• Partner with the Payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
• Prepare manual intercompany payroll invoices and review monthly payroll variance reports.
• Investigate and analyze variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate existing processes and propose improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
