Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state setting.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, regulations, and multi-state compliance.
• Proficiency with ADP payroll systems or similar HRIS/payroll software.
• Experience handling payroll tax calculations and multi-state withholding.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet bi-weekly deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and pay-rate changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Maintain ADP records and manage deductions for benefits.
• Prepare and file payroll tax documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as the point of contact for payroll inquiries from employees.
• Generate payroll reports and refine procedures with leadership.
