Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Payroll Accountant. The role is hybrid with optional remote work and offers a salary range of $75,000–$80,000 per year for an exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field preferred.
• Experience with payroll for multiple subsidiaries a must.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll transactions for assigned entities.
• Prepare balancing reports to confirm payroll totals match systems.
• Audit payroll registers to ensure internal controls at period end.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and supporting documentation.
