Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented contracting professional to support payer contracting and reimbursement activities across our multistate medical practice.

This hybrid role at the New Providence location involves coordinating with VP of Payer Relations, revenue cycle, credentialing, finance, operations, legal, and practice leadership to ensure payer agreements and requirements are documented and maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience with payer contracting, reimbursement, revenue cycle, credentialing, or contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Support payer contracting activities for commercial insurers, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid MCOs, and other payers.
• Prepare contract summaries, follow-up items, and issue trackers for leadership review.
• Track contract dates, renewal and amendments, and payer-specific requirements.
• Coordinate routine payer communication on contract status, fee schedules, credentialing, and implementation.
• Maintain payer issue logs and escalate material issues to leadership.
• Assist with rate comparisons, reimbursement exhibits, and proposal support materials.
