Job summary

The Oregon Clinic in Newberg is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for GI in a hybrid/remote arrangement. You will join a collaborative gastroenterology team, handling scheduling, registration, and patient flow to ensure a smooth clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Surgery or other complex scheduling experience is preferred.
• Prior EMR experience, Epic preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Ability to multitask and maintain excellent attendance.
• Professional communication with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic tests and in-office procedures.
• Process service and procedure work-queue requests.
• Handle outbound and inbound calls.
• Provide coverage for the Care Team scheduler.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Update registration and EMR records as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
