Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and patients upon arrival and guides them through the financial process.
• Confers with guarantor/patient, medical staff, and hospital personnel to ensure prompt and full payment.
• Documents conversations and actions in the Practice Management System.
• Accepts payment by phone and arranges payment plans per policy.
• Responds to inquiries regarding guarantor accounts and medical bills.
• Prepares financial hardship paperwork as needed for guarantors.
• Maintains guarantor work queues with clear next steps and follow-ups.
