Job summary

TMC HealthCare’s Unit 650 on Tucson Medical Center’s Oncology and Hematology unit offers a hybrid role blending Patient Care Technician and Unit Clerk responsibilities. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, support care plans, and handle clerical tasks to ensure smooth unit operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient care experience preferred; acute care setting preferred
• BLS certification required or per department
• Able to operate standard office equipment and basic computer systems

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN or Case Manager supervision
• Assist with clerical tasks such as admissions, scheduling, and charting
• Receive and route calls, greet visitors, and support unit operations
• Maintain unit supply levels and assist with room turnover between procedures
• Support radiology and other departments per protocol and patient care plans
