Job summary
Fish & Richardson, a premier global IP law firm, invites you to join our Minneapolis team as Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal. This fast-paced role supports case management, document generation, filing, and trial logistics in a hybrid setting with in-office presence in Minneapolis.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, with patent litigation experience preferred, and a readiness to travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
- Experience with patent litigation is preferred.
- Hybrid role requiring in-office presence in Minneapolis 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate creation of case management repository for new matters and maintain file organization.
- Generate and format legal documents; prepare exhibits and finalize for filing and service.
- Electronically file court papers and stay current with filing rules.
- Inform the LDD when new matters open and coordinate document distribution.
- Schedule depositions and manage transcripts and errata distribution.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist with report drafting.
- Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries.
- Assist with pre-trial planning and trial logistics.
