Job summary

Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, TX, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to perform inpatient and outpatient nutritional assessments and interventions. The role includes remote work for up to 8 hours per week with up to two on-site visits monthly.

You will educate patients and staff, document plans in the medical record, and coordinate with physicians on nutritional status while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed per state requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on nutritional status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend rounds and maintain nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.
