Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and improving residents’ quality of life.

The position offers 16-20 hours weekly, with 1–2 on-site days and 1 remote day. Ideal candidates hold a nutrition degree, a master’s degree, and are eligible for CDR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by CDR or eligible per Academy.
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach nutrition/dietetics to others.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to maintain or improve nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to set up dining/nutrition procedures.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
