Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing quality of life for patients/residents, with 16-20 hours per week on-site and one day remote.

The position requires a Bachelor's in nutrition, a Master's in Nutrition or related field, and licensure or certification as per state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets AND eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies relating to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
