The ideal candidate will guide patients and staff on medical nutrition therapy, complete nutritional assessments, and educate on dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Provide education on nutritional needs to patients and staff.
• Document assessment of patients' nutritional goals.
• Communicate with clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets.

Job Description We’re looking for a friendly, compassionate leader to join our culinary team! Guide patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment. Build relationships with physicians and nurses to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care that meets each patient’s nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

Part-Time Registered Dietitian at Hardtner Medical Center in Olla, LA Starting Rate: $32.50/hr (Negotiable based on experience) 16 hours/week HYBRID schedule available!

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance

Requirements
