Job summary

Camia Brown Interiors in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a part-time Interior Designer / Project Designer to support multiple residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with the founder, develop concepts, prepare presentations, source FF&E, and help with field coordination.

This hybrid/mostly remote role averages about 20 hours per week, with local in-person site visits as needed. A background in interior design, strong space planning, and detailed documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading residential/commercial interior design projects.
• Strong space planning and elevation/detailing skills.
• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with NYC needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and translate direction into cohesive presentations.
• Create floor plans, elevations, and design details.
• Assist with procurement, vendor quotes, and site visits.
• Coordinate with contractors, showrooms, and millworkers.
• Present client-ready packages using Canva or similar tools.
