Job summary

North Star Reserves in Rigby, Idaho seeks a part-time Business Data Analyst to build, audit, and maintain reliable datasets during hybrid onboarding.

You’ll start 1–2 months in-person for training, then transition to fully remote work within Idaho with flexible hours, using Excel, Access, and AI tools to improve data accuracy.

This role emphasizes independent work, strong organization, and collaboration through shared project boards, with compensation of $15–$18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Working knowledge of Word and Access.
• Experience with cloud-based file storage and project management tools.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to learn new software independently.
• Regular use of AI tools and ability to explain usage.

Responsibilities

• Build and audit spreadsheets for asset inventories, costs, and useful-life data.
• Transfer and reconcile information between Excel, Access, and cloud-based tools.
• Spot and correct errors in large datasets.
• Use AI tools (Claude preferred) to speed up data tasks while keeping accuracy.
• Track work and status in shared online project boards.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
