Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a part-time Clinical Supervisor in California to lead training for counselors in training and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires working in a hybrid model, supervising staff, maintaining documentation, and supporting program quality while advancing professional development. Travel is limited, and the schedule is described as M-F 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Continuing education hours/units as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Experience in evaluation of patients, treatment planning, and counseling services.
• Knowledge of substance use treatment and addiction concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assures compliance of the clinical program with CARF and all state, federal, local, and governing body policies.
• Evaluates the clinical needs of the counselor trainee and develops appropriate training to address identified needs.
• Provides clinical supervision to associates in social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or professional clinical counseling per California Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements.
• Conduct individual/group/dyadic/triadic supervision sessions at the frequency required for associate registration (BBS) and/or Pinnacle policy.
• Ensure all supervision activities are conducted within the scope of Pinnacle Treatment Center’s services and the supervisor’s licensure, training, and competence.
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient's information to ensure patient rights are protected.
