AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an in-house Paralegal for our New Jersey Staff Counsel office in Princeton. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and supports multiple attorneys in workers’ compensation defense.

The ideal candidate will have a formal paralegal certificate, 3+ years of paralegal experience, and strong writing and research skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to handle confidential information are essential.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate required.
• 3+ years paralegal experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in workers’ compensation or defense litigation preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, and legal articles to prepare briefs, pleadings, motions, and appeals.
• Prepare draft discovery responses.
• Draft complex motions and assist in trial preparation.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and team members; manage deadlines and confidential information.
