Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles preferred
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Communicates with other areas about deliverables and ongoing tasks or projects
• Gathers information from various systems and departments per actuarial request
• Researches, compiles and categorizes data and prepares related reports
• Performs tasks to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Assists with the preparation of Statutory annual statements and other year-end reporting
• Assists with internal and external audits
• Assists in developing, editing, and proofreading actuarial memorandums and other actuarial materials/communications
• Maintains effective and accurate records and databases that provide a quick reference for information on department activity, documentation, and correspondence
• Performs other duties as required
