Job summary

Otter Products, LLC is hiring a Packaging Engineer for our Fort Collins, CO location. The role collaborates with multiple departments to design, test, and implement packaging that meets cost and quality targets. Strong CAD experience and packaging knowledge are essential.

The position supports packaging development through all stages, ensures manufacturability, and maintains PLM data. Hybrid work is available, with remote options on select days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Packaging or Mechanical preferred.
• Minimum of four years of packaging engineering or packaging project experience including CAD experience.
• Experience with paper-based packaging.
• Experience with ISTA, ASTM or other package testing standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers for design and testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing and Product Development to meet cost/quality targets.
• Design packaging structures and conduct testing for transit and lifecycle performance.
• Lead packaging development across the product lifecycle including CAD documentation.
