Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company seeks a Design & Innovation Packaging Engineer to drive platformable packaging solutions across North America. You will translate brand strategies and Jobs-To-Be-Done into viable designs, lead cross-functional development from concept through proof of concept, and support scale-up to production, balancing sustainability with cost and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a design/engineering discipline with packaging focus.
• Experience in packaging development and commercialization with innovation.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, formats, and manufacturing constraints.
• Ability to lead end-to-end development and coordinate cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Design & Innovation initiatives, addressing technical and design hurdles.
• Manage initiatives with different scopes and cross-enterprise platforms.
• Partner with legal to build robust IP strategies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Interface with Marketing, Procurement, Operations and Supply Chain and vendors.
• Support prototyping and pilot line setup for scale-up to production.
